The habistat Mat Stat thermostat is ideal for controlling heating islands, heat zones as well as suitable for use in incubators of birds and reptiles. It can control up to several heating devices, the total power of which, however, cannot exceed 300W. An ideal product for heating cables, heating mats, panel radiators or heating stones. Due to the operating mode – on/off like all devices of this type, it is not suitable for controlling temperatures using heating lighting – it can cause faster wear of the bulbs (which as a result can also damage the thermostat itself). To control the temperature with the help of lighting, it is recommended to use "dimming" thermostats (dimming function).

Thermostats HABISTAT are equipped with precise measuring probes, but this thermostat will be the most accurate in the middle of its range of 18-34C. For precise calibration, we recommend using a precision thermometer (especially when used in incubators).
