Here you will find products that allow you to heat the terrarium. Almost all bred animals in the terrarium require its heating because they are, as a rule, tropical or desert animals. The terrarium can be heated in several ways. You can heat the terrarium with a heating bulb - a holder for one or more bulbs is mounted in the terrarium and the appropriate types of bulbs are mounted. Bulbs are divided into day and night bulbs, ordinary, which operate wide-angled, and halogen or point, which emit a focused beam of light creating a point for basking e.g. turtles, agamas or geckos.

In the offer of our store you will find a heating cable for the terrarium – it is one of the basic elements of equipment that provides the right temperature to heat the farm animals in the terrarium. We have models that are suitable for reptiles, amphibians and tropical spiders. Their durable construction is suitable for installation in conditions where there is moisture. Waterproof cables have a length of 3 to 9 meters. The flexible structure allows the cable to be freely spread over the entire surface of the glass catwalk.
Breeding exotic animals requires knowledge of their natural habitat. To ensure the most similar conditions, it is important to equip the terrarium with the right accessories. One of them is a heating mat, which is responsible for maintaining the right temperature inside the terrarium. In our store you will find this product at a good price. We have a model that provides heating power from 5 to 45 W. This is one of the necessary elements of terrarium equipment, thanks to which the bred animal will receive living conditions similar to natural ones.
Heating stones in the terrarium are an additional form of raising the temperature in the terrarium and serve as a heat island. Reptiles love to lie on warm stones. Heating stones have high energy efficiency and relatively low power consumption.
Ceramic emitters in many cases the ideal solution. They have several important advantages. They are resistant to moisture, an ordinary light bulb in case of splashing water can burn or even explode. With a ceramic emitter there is no problem with this. Another advantage is energy efficiency, all electricity is converted into heat that we care about. The radiator does not emit light, so it is more economical compared to a light bulb. The lack of light also means that the ceramic radiator can be used around the clock, just connect to the TC 220 thermostat RINGDER, set the day and night temperature and we have full automation in the terrarium. The best price-quality ratio has ceramic radiators from REPTI GOOD. They are characterized by trouble-free operation and a very attractive price.
Full temperature control in the terrarium.
Ceramic radiator for heating the terrarium with a power from 25W to 200W.
Another method is a heating cable, the cable most often in glass terrariums is mounted outside under the terrarium. In general, the heating power of all cables is similar and they differ in the length of the cable. 15W and 80W cables heat the same and the power difference is due to the fact that the 80W cable is longer. It is recommended to use heating cables through a thermoregulator, which allows you to set the required temperature. Thanks to this, the heating cable will automatically turn on and off to maintain the set temperature.
Another method is heating mats. Heating mats are, in my opinion, more convenient to use, because they are easier to place under the terrarium and are very thin. Mats can also be glued with double-sided tape on the side wall of the terrarium. Thanks to them, heating the terrarium is simple and effective!
An interesting form of heating are ceramic radiators, which resemble incandescent bulbs and are screwed into holders with a common e27 thread. Radiators heat up to high temperatures, so they should be used in frames with protective wire. It is an ideal solution for animals that sit in the upper parts of the terrarium, e.g. chameleon. Heating a terrarium with a chameleon from below is difficult, since the heat from below does not pass to the upper part of the terrarium. Ceramic radiators are great as heating at night, because they do not produce light, they are also used for animals that do not like harsh light. Of course, you can use a combination of, for example, a heating bulb for the day and a mat or heating cable for the night.
